I have a A665.  The instructions for installing BIOS version 1.60 says "the computer must be in Boot mode, not resume mode."  How do I check which mode it is in and how do I change it?

Boot mode is when it's turned off normally, Mark. Resume mode is when it's in hibernation.

If you want to communicate further about that computer, tell us which A665 it is.

It is the A665-S6050.

I actually have a few more questions about the upgrade BIOS.

What is the "sensor button debounce"? 

What is the UMA SKU shared memory allocation issue?

I am trying to decide if upgrading the BIOS is of any use to me.
