Alright, so basicly my printer spooler refuses to start period, I've tried manually starting it, and even restarting my laptop, but nothing seems to work, any ideas about how I could possibly fix this problem?
I can give more information, if needed.

Which computer? Please give the complete model number.
If you've changed the Windows version, tell us the details.
Give us the precise message, character-by-character, on a line by itself. Attach a picture if you know how.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660D, I haven't changed the operating system from windows 7.
When I try to start the spooler manually, this error message pops up:

Satellite A660D
Time for you learn which Satellite A660D you have. There is a label on the bottom with the model number.
Make that error occur and note the computer-clock time.
Open Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc), expand Windows Logs, and inspect the Application and System logs for the corresponding event (at that exact time).
Don't try to copy anything from there. Double-click the event and then click the Copy button. That will put the details on your clipboard.
Paste it without editing into your reply - except we want only what's above the line Event Xml:.

Hi,
Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.
In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right
Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".
Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".
Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.
Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.
Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.
The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

I bought nine (9) of these laptops for my company. This has occurred on three (3) of them. they are all Satellite C55-S5132. The print spooler stops working and the printers dispappear from the available printers list.
1. I have manually restarted the print spooler and the printers still don't appear.
2. I have manually restarted the print spooler and added the printers back in manually and the printers do not work.
3. I have manually restarted the print spooler and added the printers back in using the install discs and printers do not work.
4. I have restarted the computer and the print spooler is still not working.
5. I have restarted the computer and restarted the print spooler and the printers still don't appear.
6. I have restarted the computer and restarted the print spooler and added printers back (manually and through install discs) and the printers do not work.
We have just recently found that when a background software update is occurring then the print spooler stops working.
It first happened with Adobe Acrobat X. I had printed a document. I instructed from the notification message to Adobe Acrobat software to update automatically. I continued to work and attempted to print another version of the same document I had just printed. As the other posters above have stated. "PRINT SPOOLER has stopped working. Please restart and install a printer" to which I tried the above 6 numbered approaches.
This time, however, I restarted the computer and had a different experience. After restart, I examined the PRINTERS & DEVICES window and found that the printers were still not present. Adobe Acrobat continued to update. While I was looking at the PRINTERS & DEVICES window the Acrobat software update finished. I closed out the the final message from Acrobat that the update had completed successfully and then the Printers appeared again.
I then tried to run a WINDOWS UPDATE with a small software update (5MB). During the update the print spooler and the printers, again, were not available. Once the update finished the printers were available again.
It appears that the updates that are supposed to occur in the background are shutting down or interfering with a Toshiba driver associated with the spooler. This same type of process and specific updates do not occur on my personal DELL laptop nor on HP desktop computer.
Please resolve this issue.
A simple Google search for "print spoolers stops or printer spooler disappears" finds a higher incidence on Toshiba than on other computer mfgrs.

Incorrectly written above:
This same type of process and specific updates do not occur on my personal DELL laptop nor on HP desktop computer.
That should read:
This same type of process and specific updates on my personal DELL laptop nor on HP desktop computer HAVE NOT HAD THE SAME PROBLEM with the print spooler and printers stopping.

Same message? If not, what happens?

What is the corresponding Event Viewer entry? See my message in this thread.

Smells like something to do with the printer(s). Tell us about it (them).
What happens when you try to print a test page? Best to cut out the middle man and work with them.
