How do I update memory available for the M880G ATI HD4200 adapter

I just upgraded my Satelite L555-7005S to 8gb memory, but ATI Video adapter only shows 4gb and I am receiving BSOD errors saying my video adapter is having problems.  I can find no ATI drivers for L5557005S on Toshiba's site and ATI says I can't use their drivers.  Does someone know how to get around this issue, IE, force the ATI card to see the 8GB and make adjustments to its settings?
