I want to buy the Toshiba Canvio 3.0 1TB USB 3 HDTC610XK3B1 or the Toshiba Canvio Basics 3.0 1TB USB 3.0 HDTC610XK3BA. What exactly is the difference, and why would one choose one over the other?

Ask the Toshiba storage people at 949-455-0407.

From a little surfing, my best guess is that the BA has been replaced by the B1.
