Clear "Recent Apps" on tool bar

Besides a reboot, does anyone know how to clear your recent apps? I find it very irritating that I do not have the option.

Please, help.

Thank you

Advance task killer does not clear the recent apps thumbnails .. it seems currently there is no way of doing it either.

Luckly i am not a 13 yr old pubescent nude pic junkie and dont care if others can see my recent apps - Although i strongly feel that Google should have allowed controls on this feature.

Re: Clear "Recent Apps" on tool bar

Personally - - I preferred that the Menu button bring up sub-options of the screen/app I was currently looking at, like my phone does.. but hey... Android is smarter then I.

Clearing the recent apps... just swipe them away...   hit the button that brings them up... then swipe them to the left or the right and they are gone...

I've gotten pretty got with wiping them out quickly with a back and forth motion..

Good luck.

This is only on ICS and above.  The Thrive (if that is what they have) is currently on HC and cannot be doen that way.
