My Toshiba all in one desktop with windows 7 and Intel core i5 DX1215-D2101 just randomly started showing the following message in white letters on a black screen immediately after the TOSHIBA "Leading Innovation" screen goes away:
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation.
For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.2.6(09/28/10)
Check Cable Connection!
PXE-M0F:Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
No Bootable device-- insert boot disk and press any key
I called tech support and they did not help at all just told me to drive it for warranty covered repairs 200 miles away. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Does it prompt you to press a button to view the boot menu ("F12" perhaps)? If so, press that. What's listed in the boot menu?

That means it's not detecting the hard drive at all. Try reseating the hard drive (removing it and reconnecting it) to make sure it's snug. Of course, be careful while doing this and ensure the computer is off. If it still won't see it, it's possible that the hard drive or other hardware is damaged.

On most models, there's a door on the bottom of the laptop.
